The TechFrameTM Light Steel Framing Mills

These mills have been designed to cope with the rigorous demands of the building industry. Since the TechFrameTM is computer controlled it accurately reproduces all studs in the frame. Each stud is dimpled and notched with holes ready to accept fasteners, so components self-clip together with no clamping or drilling required. This means that you can simply snap the studs together, add screws, and have a completed wall, without using a jig.

The dimple feature means, that by using using wafer head screws, screw heads to sit below the surface, making a smooth finished wall.

The accuracy of the TechFrameTM means ease of assembly and its design and component management features gives this method huge advantages over other systems.

TechFrameTM Light Steel Framing Software & Design

Our special CAD programme is a complete Steel Framing design tool. This software is used to both design the framing and it is then exported to the machine control software. It as a similar "look and feel" as AutoCAD. The system can work out the amount of steel required to frame a wall, and the number of fastenings. Any service holes drawn are automatically reproduced, so they don’t need to be lined up manually. The system is capable of designing all structural features; doors, windows, bracing, and even trusses.
