TechspanTM Mezzanine Floor Beams was first launched in the 1980’s and introduced a whole new concept in raised storage platform design. For the first time it became possible to achieve Spans of 6.5 Metres from a single member. As a result TechspanTM mezzanines can have fewer supports leaving more clear space underneath and are faster and cheaper to assemble. All technical data and load tables have been compiled under the supervision of Oxford Polytechnic.

TechspanTM profiles are manufactured from pre-hot dipped galvanised mild steel to BS EN 10147 – 2000 – S390GD + X275 N-A-C. TechspanTM has been designed in accordance with BS5950 Part 5 : 1998. Beam sizes 200/250/300mm deep in various gauges rolled to order supplied with matching profiled cleats. Our computer controlled in-line production line, punches holes, cuts to length and rolls profile in lengths of up to 14m. Delivery to your works or to site.

TechBeamTM – High Speed Beam Mill

Acquired new in 2006, this mill is one of only two of its kind in Europe and represents state of the art high speed rolling of structural beams for floors, purlins and a wide range of other construction and general engineering applications.
