Offsite manufacturing is addressing the skills and capacity issues in the building & construction industries. One of the fastest growing new methods is Light Steel Framing or LSF. LSF is a system of creating building structures that can replace traditional bricks, concrete, wooden studwork, wooden trusses and joists. Due to its integral structural strength LSF structures can be safely built to five and more storeys without the need for other structural support. The frames can be constructed offsite and delivered in almost any level of completion from bare frames to almost complete modular buildings ready to be used. This technology is not only a direct substitute for conventional timber frame construction but has many wider applications due to its increased structural strength and light weight. LSF is being widely used for low rise offices, housing, key worker and student housing, hotels, hospitals and schools. The possibilities for LSF are endless.

We have invested in the very latest light steel framing and floor beam manufacturing technology. Using modular design we are able to rapidly produce highly accurate prefabricated light steel frame panels for walls, floors and roofing. Using specialist CAD software to complete the design, the requirements are then downloaded directly to either our TechFrameTM and TechBeamTM mills. These mills are new in 2006 and represent leading edge technology. We can supply flat pack or assemble and deliver the complete frame.
